FAQ

How does image generation work?

Wallter uses the NVIDIA NIM API (Black Forest Labs FLUX model) to generate photorealistic architectural images. Your answers in the 6-step wizard are combined into a detailed prompt that is sent to NVIDIA's servers. The resulting image is downloaded and saved to your device.

Does Wallter collect any of my data?

No. Wallter does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Projects are saved only in your device's local storage. The only external communication is the image generation prompt sent to NVIDIA NIM — no personal information is included in that request.

Why did image generation fail?

This is usually caused by a temporary issue with the NVIDIA API. Try again in a few seconds. If the error persists, check your internet connection. Generation requires an active connection as it calls an external AI service.

Can I regenerate an image for an existing project?

Currently, each project holds one generated image created at the time of the wizard. To explore a different result, create a new project with the same or adjusted settings.

Where are my projects stored?

All projects — including generated images — are stored locally on your device using iOS's standard UserDefaults. They are not uploaded to any cloud service by Wallter. Deleting the app will remove all saved projects.

How do I delete a project?

On the Dashboard, swipe left on a project card or long-press a card to reveal the delete option.

What does the prompt wizard collect?

The wizard collects your architectural preferences: project type, style, scale, materials, environment, lighting, and season. None of this information is linked to your identity; it is used solely to construct a descriptive image generation prompt.

Is Wallter suitable for professional use?

Wallter is designed for conceptual visualisation — to quickly explore architectural ideas. The generated images are AI renderings and are not substitutes for professional architectural drawings, permits, or engineering assessments.
